CT Scan Findings:
Both kidneys show normal sizes and positions with no ecstasia evident. The right kidney measures 10 x 4.6 x 4 cm while the left kidney measures 10.7 x 4.7 x 4.6 cm. The nephograms and pyelograms are bilaterally comparable in intensity. No renal parenchymal lesios are detected. A 0.2 cm (96 HU) lithiasis is noted in the lower calyx of the left kidney. The perinephric are unremarkable. The ureters are not dilated.
After the CT scan 2 months ago and finding out about the Infected Epidermal Inclusion Cyst, I'm back at The Medical City (Ortigas) for a kidney ultrasound because of the slight irregularities seen from the CT scan (noted above) and also because of the not too uncomfortable pain I felt on the lower left abdomen for a few days now.
While waiting for the result, we (my son and I) went for lunch at the Food Court on the second floor which we just discovered today. I wish we knew about this place before because we've been eating and spending at Rockwell which is just walking distance from The Medical City, each time I have appointment with my doctors.As soon as we saw the Rice in a Box, we ordered our usual favorites: mine is Seafood Bagoong and EJ's is Ham and Bacon. These Rice in a Box meals fill the tummy to full yet economical, very good for those who are in tight budget, like me. :D
Three more hours for the result so we'll be here till dinner time then.
