I was blog hopping for the BC Bloggers' commenting challenge when I found this Wednesday Windows of Vienna and Beyond which featured Schönbrunn Palace. Series of photos shared on that site were all great images and I almost felt like getting lost in the beauty of them all. Visit Vienna and Beyond to see for yourselves.
You have One (1) day left to share your own photo of a window or door.
Now on to my photos. At the time all these photos were taken, we were living in Geneva, Switzerland. Every weekend, we went for out of town trips and this trip to Gornergrat was certainly one of our favorites.
I didn't have a dslr yet back then. All I had was point and shoot, Canon Powershot(ed.), which I guess, wasn't too bad.
The three photos below are different shots of the Gornergrat Observatory, Switzerland. This observatory is at 3150m above sea level which then provides great conditions for successful research in astronomy and astrophysics.
